Obituary of Edward M. Benedetto

Edward M. Benedetto, Jr, of Carver, formerly of Chelsea, passed away on February 9, 2014. He was 49 years old. Beloved husband of Julie (Cohen) Benedetto. Loving father of Samantha, and Giavanna Benedetto. Cherished son of Edward Benedetto of FL, and Jean Hedvig, and her husband Russell of Squantum. Brother of Lori Yerxa and her husband Jeff of Key West, FL. Edward is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends, and will be sadly missed by his dog "Isabelle". Edward was born and raised in Chelsea, and worked for the BFI Corp. in Quincy for many years. He loved to spend time with his family, and cherished his two girls, Samantha, and Giavanna. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 10-12:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Homes, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver with a funeral service set to begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private. A scholarship fund has been set up to benefit Edward's children.
