Mary Teresa Welch (Superneau) of Pembroke died on February 10, 2014 at the age of 88 surrounded by her family. Mary was the wife of the late James F. Welch. Mother of James A. Welch of Pembroke, Eileen Welch and husband Paul Twist of Boston, Susan Crothers and husband Kevin of Pembroke and Lisa Muscato and husband James of Pembroke. Beloved sister of Elizabeth and sister-in-law of Gerard Ryan of Pembroke and sister-in-law of Eleanor Welch Shapiro of Florida. Loving Grandmother of nine and Great Grandmother of ten. Mary was born in South Boston and was retired from Bailey and Son Windows in Hanover. There are no calling hours, however family and friends are welcome to gather at the Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett Street (Rte 14) in Pembroke on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 9am followed by a Mass at St. Thecla’s Church in Pembroke at 10am. Burial to follow at Center Cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Resident Activity Fund for Alden (Alzheimer’s) Unit and mailed to Plymouth Rehab and Healthcare, 123 South Street, Plymouth MA 02360.
