Obituary of Lauretta E. Sherlock

Lauretta E. (Gillis) Sherlock, age 97, of Lauderhill, FL, formerly of Kingston, died on Monday, February 10, 2014, at the Lauderhill Manor in Lauderhill, FL. Born in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Pauline Gillis. For many years, Lauretta managed two apartment buildings in Boston. She loved her family very much and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Lauretta was the beloved wife of the late John Sherlock; devoted mother of John Sherlock & his wife Marianna of Coconut Creek, FL, Robert Sherlock & his wife Romperey of Myrtle Beach, SC and Marjorie Grady & her husband John of Kingston; loving grandmother of Richard & Amy, Daniel & Sarah, Kevin & Traci, Darren & Lauren and Jeanne and great-grandmother of 21. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Friday, February 14, 2014, at 8:15 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Elm Street, (Route 80), Kingston.
