Obituary of John M. Driscoll

John M. Driscoll, D.D.S., of Kingston, passed away on January 4, 2014. He was 82 years old. Mr. Driscoll is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he achieved the rank of Commander. He is a graduate of Holy Cross, 1953, and went on to graduate from Georgetown Dental School in 1957. He did his post graduate training in Quantico. Mr. Driscoll taught at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for 33 years. He was the devoted husband to his loving wife, and best friend, Sandra Driscoll. Mr. Driscoll is also survived by his four children, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He is the brother of the late Audrey Moran. He leaves several nieces, nephews, as well as many special friends. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 8th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph's church on Thursday, January 9th at 10:00 AM. Mr. Driscoll will be laid to rest with military honors at the MA National cemetery in Bourne.
