Wallace "Wally" E. Ellis, Jr., age 65, of Kingston, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 28, 2013. He lived most of his life in Bridgewater with his beloved wife of 25 years, Charlene (Glass) Ellis, before relocating to Kingston. He was born on July 28, 1948 in Brockton, MA to the late Ogenia "Jean" (Rosa) & Wallace Ellis, Sr.. He was an owner of D&W Heating formerly of Bridgewater for 15 years, before retiring and also worked for Faria Oil in Stoughton. He is survived by his four children and two step-children: Kaylee Cappella of Plymouth; Wallace Ellis III & Cathy of Taunton; Kathleen Peltz & Michael of Bridgewater; Sheri Yurkins & Gary of Raynham; Michelle Besarick & Bill Holbrook of Rockland; and Michael Gento & Angela of East Bridgewater. He was blessed with and survived by 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: Randy Ellis & Terri of Bridgewater; Steve Ellis & Suellen of Lakeville. He was the brother of the late Rita Maxim & her surviving husband Jerry Maxim of Middleboro. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Friday, December 6, 2013, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Scotland Cemetery, Route 104, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Suite 745, Boston, MA 02215.
