Obituary of James R. Dwyer

James R. Dwyer, “J.D.”, age 61, of Kingston, and formerly of Newton, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 29, 2013, after a brief hospital stay.
Jim was the son of the late James E. Dwyer and Catherine E. (Lawson) Dwyer.
Jim was a long time employee of Leighton’s Catering of Kingston, which he followed by 18 years of service as a letter carrier for the Hingham Post Office, where he was known as the “Reading Mailman.”
He was an experienced traveler, crossing the U.S., visiting Europe several times, and vacationing throughout the Caribbean. He was also an avid fan of Jeopardy.
Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Maureen Dwyer of Kingston, Marty Jaques of Watertown, and Stephanie Dwyer; three nieces, Claire Jaques of Watertown, Aubrey Proctor of Washington, D.C., and Nicole Jaques of Waltham; and close friend, Missy Garnett of Kingston.
A private service will be held at a later date.
