Alphonse Miccichi, age 87, of Kingston, formerly a long time resident of Norwell, died on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the Life Care Center in Plymouth. Born on February 21, 1926 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph & Vicenzia Geni (Graffa) Micciche. He was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Among his many interests and hobbies, Mr. Miccichi was a lifelong boating enthusiast and fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Concertina F. (Rispettoso) Miccichi of Kingston, MA; his daughter, Anna Eriksson of Duxbury and her husband Richard, and his daughter, Patricia Eriksson of Carver and her husband Robert; his six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visiting hours have been omitted. Private Graveside Services were held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
