My sympathy to your entire family on your loss of Mr. Hale. His mother, "Aunt Rea" was an aunt to my step sister's mother, Clara (Phillips) Brown of Bethany. Although I never met him, I have his book and it was a joy to read the personal experience he had at the County Home in E. Bethany with his aunt and uncle. One of the best books I have read, his story tells of a time when the Home was productive and proud.
