Obituary of Douglas R. Lauzon

Douglas R. Lauzon, Sr., age 79, of Carver, died on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility in Bourne. Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Thomas H. & Eugenie (Daignault) Lauzon. Douglas was a veteran with the U.S. Marine Corp., serving his country during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was the beloved husband of Jill M. (Hirsch) Lauzon; devoted father of Douglas R. Lauzon, Jr. & his wife Elizabeth of Carver, Jennifer A. Saltalamacchia of Wareham and Adam D. Lauzon of Carver; loving grandfather of Andrew F. Lauzon and Craig M. Lauzon, both of Carver; dear brother of Joanne Thompson of Hull and the late Thomas Lauzon, Jr., Robert Lauzon, Florence Turner, Dolly Gavin, Pauline Monroe and Lorraine Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Friday, October 11, 2013, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral and interment services will be private.
