Dear Chames Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I have found to be a great source of comfort are the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that there is going to be a resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death. Also at Revelation 21:4 we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow, pain and even death itself. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.

Exchanged email not too long ago with Nick and recapped the last several years that have flown by all to quickly. Had a tour working for Nick in the Vegas area which will always stand out as a great time in our lives. Am sure he is happier and content now that he is reunited with Barbara since they were such a devoted couple.
Peace Nick........Barry & Sarah

Our condolences to The families of Nick and Barbara. We served with them in Thailand all those many years ago. Dedicated friends who were the perfect example of "nice people." God bless Nick - we are all a little worse off at his passing. Dave and Ruthann

Dear Nick,
There was too little time for you to spread you warmth, compassion, caring and laughter here in this world. You did so much for those who’s lives you touched. I am thankful for being one of them, an appreciative of the kindness and comfort you shared with my family and I as we walked the same path as you did. May you rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

I am so sorry to learn of Nick's death. Nick and Barbara were very special people. Nick was a man to be admired and his faith to be emulated. I remember how honored we were when he and Barbara joined my family for Thanksgiving several years ago. As well I remember the faith and strength of a loving husband as he quietly and with dignity cared for Barbara when she was sick. A good man, good husband and good friend has passed.

This hits me hard, real hard and Nick sends me stuff every day it seems. There were only three in my class in 1955 at the school we went too after being hired by the agency that summer. The three of us have always kept in touch and now just two of us and Dan Stephenson now has Parkinson's and I do hope he can have visitors still when I am there in N. VA in Oct for an agency reunion.
Neat guy, good Catholic and the most devoted husband I have ever known. They were a couple ever since high school.
He has been down in the dumps ever since she went first a few years ago and Nick had been her faithful caregiver when she spent a long time in a bad way before her death.
It was a pleasure and honor to have him as a co-worker and a friend for 58 years
