Obituary of Kenneth R. Ouellet

Kenneth R. Ouellet, age 65, of Halifax, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, died on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at his home. Born in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Louis & Shirley (Keyes) Ouellet. Ken served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. For many years, he was a truck driver and in retirement years, Ken enjoyed carpentry, especially furniture restoration. Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Gillian C. (Holmes) Ouellet; son, Keith Ouellet & his wife Lisa of North Attleborough; step-sons, Michael Cassiani of Vineyard Haven and Dennis (Ti) Cassiani & his partner Paula of Manomet; grandchildren, Brittany, Justin, Joanna, Josh, Julia, Caitlyn, Rachael and Matthew; great-grandson, Eric; and brother, Bill Ouellet of Colorado. A visitation period will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Sunday, September 8, 2013, from 1:00-2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM. Interment services will be private.
