Jeffrey S. Bond, 56, of Kingston, died peacefully with his devoted wife, Jennifer Tura Bond, by his side on August 24, 2013, following a long and brave battle with cancer. Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; sons, Jonathan D. Bond and his wife Kimberly (Johnson) Bond of Plymouth, Jason A. Bond of Martha’s Vineyard and Peter S. Bond of Kingston; brother, Robert D. Bond and his partner Ernie Gallerani of Lynn; his late brother, Stephen L. Bond his surviving wife, Cynthia Bond and their daughter Stephanie M. Bond of Kingston; grandson, Jonathan D. Bond, II of Plymouth and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jeffrey was the son of the late Lawrence D. Bond and Lillian (Churchill) Bond. Jeff was a volunteer firefighter with the town of Kingston and a long time employee of the Kingston Highway Department. He was a long time member and Director of Membership for the Hilltop AA and Captain of the Fruitcakes. Jeff will be missed by all that knew him. Calling hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff's memory can be made to Dr. Matthew Smith, Prostate Cancer Research Foundation, Massachusetts General Hospital, Development Office, 165 Cambridge Street, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114.
