Silvia (Neissar) Wilkinson, 66, of Kingston, formerly of Quincy died peacefully at her home August 23, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Emsdetten, West Germany and raised and educated in Quincy Schools. She graduated from Quincy High School and Quincy Junior College. Silvia held several executive secretarial positions including Service Master, Four Seasons/Boston, and Arthur Emery of Weymouth. She loved vacationing to Aruba, Florida and Europe. She especially cherished her four grandsons Ian, Camden, Harrison, and Liam. Silvia is the beloved wife of Bill Wilkinson for 38 years. She was the devoted mother of Heather Sarabia and her husband Ed of Marshfield, Julie Wilkinson of Kingston, David Wilkinson and his wife Lindsay of Standish, Maine, and the late Christine Wilkinson. Daughter of the late Linda Neissar of Kingston and sister of the late Viivi Maged of Kingston, sister-in-law to Margaret Wilkinson of Chelmsford. Silvia will be sorely missed by her many friends and family, especially life long friend Marcia Flaherty of Braintree. Memorial calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at the Zion Lutheran Church, 386 Court Street, Plymouth, MA from 4:00-6:00pm. A service to celebrate Silvia’s life will be Friday, August 30, 2013, at 10:00am at Zion Lutheran Church. Reception to follow service at the Loring Center. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Silvia’s memory to the Zion Lutheran Church, 386 Court Street, Plymouth, MA 02360.
