Obituary of Helen I. Gotell

Helen I. Gotell, age 86, of Halifax, MA, formerly of Weymouth, MA and Prince Edward Island, Canada, died peacefully at home, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Helen is the wife of the late Gordon C. Gotell. She is mother to cherished son, the late G. Ritchie Gotell. Helen is survived by beloved daughters, Juanita Dossett of Hopkinsville, KY and Kimberley Hatch and husband, Joseph of Halifax, MA; by her adored 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a celebration of Helen's life at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, MA, on Monday, August 12, 2013, from 4:00-7:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Prince Edward Island, Canada. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland, MA 02370.
