Obituary of Martha C. Duggan

Martha C. (Carter) Duggan, 91, of Duxbury, formerly of Pembroke, died Aug. 5. Loving wife of the late Stephen J. Duggan. Beloved mother of Stephen J. Duggan and his wife Suzan of Plympton. Devoted grandmother of Thomas B. Duggan and his wife Rita ( Martinez) of Whitman and Ian J. Duggan and his wife Kelly (Goldrick) of W. Bridgewater. Great grandmother of Finnegan A. Duggan and Mae L. Duggan. Martha was raised in Arlington, VA. She was employed with the FBI and stationed in London during WWII where she met and married the late Stephen J. Duggan. The couple moved to Pembroke where they resided for 20 years. Martha worked as a legal secretary and she served on the Pembroke and Silver Lake School Committees. They moved to Centerville in 1984, and upon her husband's death, Martha moved to The Villages in Duxbury, where she resided until her death. Her greatest joy was to see the birth of her two great grandchildren.
