Obituary of Thomas M. Morris

Thomas M. Morris, age 67, of Kingston, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at his home. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Thomas J. & Mary E. (Sampson) Morris. Tom began his career in 1972, as a probation officer in the 3rd District Court of Plymouth. He retired as the Chief of Probation in 2009. He was inducted into the Silver Lake Regional High School Athletic Hall of Fame in January, 2009, and was an active member of Hilltop AA Youth Basketball. Tom was the beloved husband of Margaret A. (Brennan) Morris for 42 years; devoted father of Michael I. Morris & his wife Sarah of Kennebunk, ME, Andrew J. Morris & his wife Melissa of Wrentham, Amy C. Morris & her boyfriend Kevin Nelson of Virginia Beach, VA and loving grandfather of Peyton Olivia Morris and expected grandson Owen Thomas Morris. Visitation at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Thursday, July 11, 2013, from 9:30-10:30AM, followed by his funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Elm Street, (Route 80), Kingston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory may be made to the Compassionate Care ALS, P.O.
