Frank L. Goyette Sr., 79, of Halifax, passed away on June 24, 2013. Son of the late Frank and Dorothy Goyette, he is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Margaret (Driscoll); his five children: Frank Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Glastonbury, CT; Linda Corcoran and her husband Neil of Kingston; Denise Brown and her husband Doug of Middleboro; William and his wife Susan of Duxbury; and Michelle of Kingston; sister Janice Lincoln of Marshfield; granddaughters Keri, Kaitlyn and Kristina Gillen; Christie, Allison and Lexi Goyette; stepgrandchildren Colleen Carpenter, Brendan Corcoran and Carol Belcher; great-grandchildren Kailey and Rylee; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother Robert of Scituate. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a devoted family man and never missed any of his children’s and grandchildren’s school and athletic events. Frank was an avid sports fan but most notably the number one fan of his adored grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 27th from 4-8:00pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Friday June 28th at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to The One Fund of Boston at www.onefundboston.org, or The Jimmy Fund at www.jimmyfund.org.
