George S. Fletcher, Jr., age 70, of Duxbury, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, May 31, 2013, at his home.
George's children were his greatest joy in life. He was a graduate of Rutgers University. George was a leader and mentor to many in the commercial construction industry for 40 years, servicing the architectural community in New England. He built two successful businesses in his career and worked side by side with his wife at Architectural Design Resources for the past 28 years. George loved to ski and sail and became and avid golfer. His passion brought him to beautiful courses all over the world.
George leaves behind his beloved wife and Best Friend, Diane Bradanese Fletcher. He is the Proud father of son & daughter-in-law Scott and Crystal Fletcher of Franklin, MA, son Adam Fletcher and fiancée Jessica McKeller of Cambridge, MA and daughter Alyssa Fletcher of Charleston, SC.
Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 5:00-8:00 PM.
Graveside services at the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury, on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 11:00 AM.
