Jane Margaret (Adams) Horner, of Pembroke, passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on May 14, 2013. She was the beloved wife of William T. Horner. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 18th. Loving mother of Bryan (Casey) Horner and wife Debbi of Marshfield; Gregg Horner and partner Dennis Glover of Largo, Florida; Lynne Badeau and husband Don of Plymouth; and Tricia Travers and husband Ben of Kingston. Her grandchildren, Ashley and Jess Horner, Max and Eric Travers and Lauren Badeau, cherished their “Grammy.” Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. She was the twin sister of the late Jean Rainey and the late Thomas Adams of Pembroke. Jane lovingly served in the life of the Bryantville United Methodist Church. She was involved in the swim program with the Town of Pembroke, and Red Cross. Family and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Fri. May 17, 2013 from 4 to 8 at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeeset St., Pembroke, MA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home on Sat. May 18, 2013 at 10, followed by internment at the Pembroke Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jane’s memory to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360,Joslin Diabetes Center 1 Joslin Place Suite 745 Boston, MA 02215 or Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Recreation Fund, 308 Kingstown Way, Duxbury MA 02332. The family is grateful for the loving care that she received at Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Duxbury.
