Obituary of Geraldine Berk

Geraldine Berk, of Carver, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2013 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. She was born on October 24, 1943 in St. John's New Foundland, the daughter of the late Edward Brown and Susanna Powell. She was the wife of the late Joseph Berk. Geri was raised in Boston and moved to Dedham with her husband and family. They moved to Carver nearly 40 years ago. She worked for many years at the carver branch of the Mutual Federal Savings Bank as a teller. She was the loving mother of Belinda Bessette and her husband Richard of Carver, Steven Berk and the late Kevin Berk. Cherished grandmother of Richard Bessette Jr, and Lauren Bessette. Beloved sister of Joan (Herbert) Ouellette of Plymouth, and Betty gene (Kenneth) Harju of Middleboro. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are cordially invited to a graveside service on Tuesday, May 7th at 11:00 AM at the Union cemetery in South Carver.
