Obituary of George W. Robinson

George W. Robinson, Jr. of Bryantville, formerly of Duxbury, passed away on March 30, 2013 after a lengthy battle with numerous health issues. He was 87 years old and the son of the late George W. Robinson and Gertrude A. (Barlow) Robinson. A U.S. Navy Veteran, George is a graduate of Brookline High School, as well as Suffolk University where he earned a BS in Business Administration with a major in Marketing in 1950. He operated the G.W. Robinson Co. selling dry cleaning equipment and exercised his real estate license in later years. He loved the ocean, boating, and deep sea fishing. Beloved husband of 27 years to Marilyn Robinson. Loving father of Linda Robinson, Dick Robinson, Rachel Robinson, and step father to Douglas Parks, and Kenneth Parks. Brother of the late Shirley Lundstrom. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Robinson, Kelsey Robinson, Daniel Robinson, Michael Robinson, Michael Parks, Bailey Parks, Ashley Robinson, and Audrey Robinson. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 5th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker, 1 Maquan St, Hanson on Saturday, April 6th at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Pembroke.
