Robert L. Miller age 65 of Duxbury passed away on March 17, 2013, surrounded by his family. Born in Dorchester, the eldest of seven children to Constance and Robert Miller. He was raised in Milton. He was a graduate of Catholic Memorial, St. Anselm College and Golden Gate University. Bob joined the Air Force in 1970 as a pilot. He served in the Vietnam and Gulf War’s. He retired after proudly serving 22 years. He took great pleasure in flying and travelling around the world with his family. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Mary Louise (Dugan) Miller, son Robert Miller of Avondale, PA, daughter Jennifer (Miller) Michaels of Marstons Mills, daughter Courtney (Miller) Sweeney of Kingston, and daughter Whitney (Miller) Proctor who passed away in 2001, brother John Miller of Marshfield, sister Katherine (Miller) Devine of Mendham, NJ, sister Constance (Miller) Wessman of Scituate, brother William Miller of Scituate. Predeceased by his sisters Elizabeth (Miller) Munoz and Anne Miller. Beloved Grandfather and Uncle to many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 22nd from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St, Duxbury. Interment will be private.
