Obituary of Ruth T. Moriarty

Ruth T. Moriarty, 91, of Carver, died March 3 at the Cape Heritage Nursing & Rehab Center in Sandwich. Daughter of the late James and Bridget Moriarty. Predeceased by all of her siblings, Ruth is survived by her niece Deborah J. Welker,of Dennisport, who lovingly cared for her, and several other nieces and nephews. Ruth was employed as an operator with NE Telephone, retiring in 1981.She loved the MA State Lottery, and traveling to Foxwoods. She was a coin collector, loved to crochet, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Visiting hours from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Rt. 58, Carver, on Friday March 8 from 9-10:00AM, followed by a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Main St., Carver at 10:30AM. Interment in Central Cemetery, Carver.
