Obituary of Raymond I. Dunham

Raymond I. Dunham, 63, of Wareham, formerly of Carver, passed peacefully at Tobey Hospital on Thursday February 21st after a long illness. He was the son of the late Frances M. Dunham and the late Jennie M. (Snow) Dunham. He was the brother of the late Lorraine Dooley and the late Francis Maier. He was raised in Carver and graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School. He was also involved in the local cranberry growing for many years. Raymond is survived by his daughter, Joan Dunham-Young and her spouse Pamela Young of Wareham, two brothers, Norman Dunham of Novato, California, Wayne Dunham and his wife Ann of Carver as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, at 11:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) in Carver with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Raymond’s memory to The American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
