Obituary of Barbara Ann Frazier

Barbara Ann Frazier, 60, of Manchester CT, formerly of Braintree, MA, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 13, 2013 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Barbara is survived by her loving brother, Douglas Frazier and his wife Ann, of Carver, and several cousins.She was born in Quincy, MA on March 17, 1952, beloved daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice (MacGillvray) Frazier. She graduated from Braintree High School class of 1970, continued her education, graduating from Boston State College earning a BSN Degree and worked many years as a RN in the Boston and Hartford, CT area. She also served her country, receiving an honorable discharge from the US Navy. Barbara had resided in Manchester, CT for the past 25 years working for Human Services agencies for several years and most recently for Community Health Resources/We Can Clubhouse in Manchester.She was active in many organizations including, NAMI and ACOA. Barbara is remembered for her kindness, support and friendship to all and her dedication to those in need. Calling hours will be Friday, March 1, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Rt. 106, Kingston, MA from 4-7PM,.
