Obituary of Sarah Powers

Sarah (Hunt) Powers, 90, of Duxbury, died Feb. 17. Beloved wife of the late Michael Powers. Loving mother of Mary Lindsay and her husband Richard of FL, Peg Hogan and her husband the late Jack Hogan of Sandwich, Michael Powers and his wife Frances of Norton, Jerry Powers and his wife Joanne of Kingston, and Terry Harriman Powers of Sandwich. Devoted grandmother of twelve grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters; Edna Hartley, Marion Sampson, Margaret Dunphy, and the late Eileen Flaherty, Monica King, and John, Thomas, and James Hunt. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Rt. 106, Kingston, on Fri. Feb. 22 at 10:00AM, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, Main St., Kingston, at 11:00AM.
