Obituary of Frances Connelly

Frances (Kidd) Connelly, age 87, of Kingston, MA, died on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Bay Path in Duxbury, MA. Born in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell & Ada (Roberts) Kidd. Frances enjoyed cooking, sewing and playing bridge. She was a member of the Mary Drew Sewing Circle and of the First Unitarian Alliance in Kingston, MA. Frances was the beloved wife of the late Roger A. Holmes and the late John F. Connelly; devoted mother of Pamela Holmes Carr & her husband Dennis of Scott, LA, John D. Connelly of Malden, MA, Norman T. Connelly of Kingston, MA, Roger A. Holmes & his wife Mary Beth of Onset, MA and the late Susan Schutt and Christine Ladd; loving grandmother of James Owens, Eric Owens, Melissa Owens, Tara Thurber (Butch), Preston T. Blair (Cassie), Penelope Blair, Douglas Ladd, Jessica Connelly, Alicia Holmes, Sabrina Scanlon (Adam) and great-grandmother of seven; dear sister of Richard Kidd of Pembroke, MA and the late Mitchell Tulane Kidd, Jr., Eugene Kidd and William Kidd. Memorial visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, MA, on Thursday, February 7, 2013, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Interment services will be private.
