Obituary of Brenda M. Boucher

Brenda M. Boucher, of Duxbury passed away February 1, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born in Boston October 26, 1922 to the late Oliver and Ethel Mathewson. Brenda was the loving wife to the late Thomas B. Boucher of Duxbury.In the early years Brenda worked at Mary Hackett’s and the Hilltop Mansion.As her family grew, she became a full time homemaker.She was known for her fields of gladiolus and homemade root beer. Brenda was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas in 1973. Brenda is survived by her beloved sons Thomas Boucher Jr. [Nancy] of Marshfield, David Boucher of Duxbury, Brian Boucher [Sandy] of Duxbury; and her daughters Maureen Gebert [Kent]of Schenectady, NY and Adele Solomon [Corey] of Las Vegas, NV.She also leaves grandchildren Kelly, Cory, Becky, Benjamin, Doug and Brad; and great grandson Brandon. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 5th at 1:00 PM at the Mayflower cemetery in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
