Obituary of Peter J. Walsh

Peter J. Walsh, age 74, of Pembroke, formerly of South Boston, died on Monday, January 28, 2013, at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth. He was the beloved husband for 48 years to the late Margaret R. (Richardson) Walsh; devoted father of Deborah Oliveira & her husband David of Peabody, Peter M. Walsh & his wife Jennifer of Pembroke, Susan Ahola & her husband Scott of Hanson and Paul Walsh of Pembroke; loving grandfather of ten; dear brother of Maryjane Davis of Plymouth, Michael Walsh of FL, Marguerite Sacaramona of Plymouth, Cheryl Walsh of Quincy, Robert Walsh of NH and the late David Walsh. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke Center, on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 4:00-8:00 PM. His funeral Mass will be held at Saint Thecla's Church, 145 Washington Street, (Route 53), Pembroke, on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge at 12:30 PM.
