Obituary of Martha Silva

Martha Silva, age 85, of Wareham, died on Friday, January 11, 2013, at her home. Born in Carver, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur & Dipordina (Furtado) Silva. Martha was the devoted sister of Rita Souza of Chandler, AZ, Julia Butner of Dorchester and the late Roy Silva, Joseph Silva, Lawrence Silva, Richard Silva and Mae Malone. She was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. A visitation period will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Saturday, January 19, 2013, from 9:00-10:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Central Cemetery, Route 58, Carver. Contributions in Martha's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
