Obituary of Donald W. Eklund

Donald W. Eklund, of Carver, and formerly of Marshfield and Plymouth, passed away on January 10, 2013. He was 78 years old. Beloved husband of Patricia A. Eklund. Loving father of Deborah Eklund of Plymouth, and Gregory Eklund of Plymouth. Son of the late Victor and Lillian (Williams) Eklund. Step brother to Phillip Dresser of NH. Cherished grandfather of Derek, Brittany, and Aedyn. Donald is also survived by his extended family on his wife Patricia's side. Donald served in the US Army during the Korean War, and later worked as a Computer Technician at TRW in Waltham. Donald was a member of the Masons, and enjoyed the collecting and study of coins. Donald's family will miss his sense of humor, which he kept until the very end. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held for Donald on Thursday, January 17th at 11:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 main St (Rt. 58) Carver.
