Dear Alan & Family, I am so sorry and heartbroken that I missed Sheila's funeral. I didn't get the message until today--a day too late. I want you to know how much I loved Sheila who, when we were growing up playing with dolls and swinging on the porch swing on Colonial Avenue all those many years ago, was like my big sister instead of cousin. I always thought she was so beautiful with her gorgeous long blonde hair. But beyond that, she was kind and gentle. I will think of her often. May I share with you a quote that was given to me when Bernie died--"Death is not extinguishing the light, it is putting out the lamp because the dawn has come." I have to believe that Sheila has entered that new day where pain and suffering do not exist. I know she will be with each of you always. Maureen O'Rourke

Our condolences to the Trant family. Sheila was the first neighbor we met when we moved on Furnace Lane. Our Karen grew up with Judy and Susan. Sheila will be missed. Our prayers are with the family.
God Bless,
Ella & Jimmy

I am sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I fondly remember Mrs.Trant allowing Judy to have us over for sleepovers. We would make so much noise giggling and she would be in the other room or kitchen letting us have our fun. As an adult, I got to chit chat with her on her breaks when she worked for the insurance company and I was doing receptionist work next door. Judy and family: I hope your memories of her will ease the pain a little. God Bless, Mrs. Trant
