Dear Courtney, Cassidy and family,
I was so sorry to hear about your mother. I remember how proud she was of everything you two did in preschool and what a caring mother she was. I am sure that continued throughout the years. Hold on to those beautiful memories.
You are both in my thoughts.

We were so saddened to hear of the loss of Sandra, an angel on earth. She was truly an amazing woman who will live on in the lives of those that love her. We wish you peace and comfort in the knowledge that Sandra is with the Lord and is finally free from pain. Our hearts break for those that are left behind. We will never forget the great time we had in Mexico! Have a margarita for waiting for us Sandra! And those Jimmy Fund walks! Sandra never stopped walking! We couldn't keep up! We will cherish those memories always! Both Sandra and Mike are true inspirations for us all. Sandra showed us all how to never give up and fight fight fight no matter the odds! We will keep fighting for you Sandra! We will never give up!

Sandra's Family,
We will make it easy and address the large group known as her family because she has touched the hearts of so many people and many are feeling the loss of Sandra so deeply...Like she was one of their own. My husband and I have known both Mike and Sandra for well over 20 years and have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to watch and live some of the most amazing moments with them. Both happy and sad moments, but mostly ones that would make you laugh. Sandra came to our rescue when our youngest son came rather unexpectedly and I had to go back to work. She wrapped her arms around Max and the challenge, spit up and all! One of the many ways she gave of herself and we will always be grateful to her and Mike for opening their hearts and their home to our little man.
Sandra had a way of putting us all together and keeping us connected. Whether it be for a trip, a day at the pool or boat, but my family's favorite; our annual "river run", camping extravaganza that grows every year because of Sandra and her partner in crime…Linda. We will miss the adventures with her but will hold all of our memories of the ones we have shared close to our hearts. We have watched this light-hearted teenager beat cancer and then go on to grow into this amazing strong willed woman, mother and wife that would not take cancers invitation lightly...She has been courageous and taught all of us that you must believe in yourself and the people that love you. We do! As much as we will miss everything about her, our heavy hearts are warmed by the thought of her being somewhere beautiful(I hope tropical)and most importantly, out of pain.
We know her amazing daughters Courtney and Cassidy will live with the same compassionate driving nature and build on her legacy. How could they do anything but that? They have an amazing father to guide them and the strongest foundation to build from, Sandra made certain of that!
Our love, support and anything else any of you may need of us are at your fingertips!
Love Shari, Mike, Zack, Robyn and Max
