Obituary of Claire E. Hurley

Claire E. (Dooley) Hurley, age 71, of Carver, formerly of South Boston, died on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Frederick P. & Julia (Kelley) Dooley. Claire was the beloved wife of 47 years to Jerry Hurley; devoted mother of Claire Marie Hurley of Carver and the late Kevin M. Hurley; loving grandmother of Kenzie Hurley, Kerin Hurley and Sean Patrick Callahan; dear sister of Frederick P. Dooley of Tucson, AZ and Gerard Dooley of South Boston and dear aunt of Frederick Patrick Dooley of Tucson, AZ, Susan Walsh of Rhode Island and Peter Walsh of Attleborough. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Thursday, November 29, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Carver, on Friday, November 30 at 9:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 126 South Meadow Road, Plymouth at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Central Cemetery, Route 58, Carver. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Claire's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
