Obituary of Patricia Thom

Patricia (O’connor) Thom of Plymouth, formerly of Quincy passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the age of 66. She was the daughter of the late Ethel (Ballou) Gallegos of Plymouth, and the loving sister of Ronald Gallegos and his wife Carole of California, Glenn Gallegos and Jessica Bulley of Quincy, and the late Lawrence Merrit of California. She was also the dear aunt of Adam Gallegos and his wife Megan of Illinois. She was the proud mother of her daughter Lisa (Thom) Sylva of Carver MA. And was the lovingly devoted grandmother of Kayleigh Sylva of Carver MA. Patty worked at the Radisson Hotel on Plymouth Harbor for many years and leaves many friends there as well. She will be missed by all that were blessed to know her. She was a lifelong friend of Bill W. She was also the biggest little patriots fan out there! Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 4:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Patty’s name.
