Obituary of Winifred Walker

Winifred Walker, of Wellesley, died peacefully at 95 on November 21st. Devoted wife of the late Eric Walker and loving mother of Jacky and her husband Bill Keith of Duxbury, Jill and her husband Rick Potash of Fairfield, VT, Ian Walker and his wife Katie of Atlanta, GA and Carolyn and her husband Dickie Sullivan of Nashville, TN. Grandmother to Michael Assad Jr and his wife Karen of Mashpee, and Peter Garran and his wife Nikki of Duxbury. Also great grandmother to Liam and Caoimhe Assad and Ali and Keera Garran. Born in England, she emigrated to the US with her family in 1962. She was active in the Dedham Women’s Exchange and enjoyed a more than 50 year membership in the Weston Golf Club. Funeral will be private and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
