Obituary of Jane Johnson

Jane (Morgan) Johnson, age 95, of North Marshfield, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Armenian Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Jamaica Plain. Jane was a graduate of Wheaton College in Norton. After college, she served with the American Red Cross in Attu, Alaska during World War II. Jane was an accomplished writer and editor. She was very active in local politics and raised five dogs. She was the daughter of the late Dr. John A. Morgan & Grace (Moore) Morgan; loving mother of David P. Johnson, Jr. of Hyde Park, Wendy M. Johnson of Alexandria, VA and Pamela M. Johnson of Marshfield and dear sister of the late Mary Warren Ceresole. Jane was the former wife of David P. Johnson, Sr. of Francestown, NH. Graveside Services at the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury, on Monday, November 26 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
