Obituary of Shirley M. Hermenau

Shirley M. Hermenau, 78, died Nov. 17 at her home in Carver. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur T. Hermenau. Loving mother of Steven Hermenau and his wife Sandy of Lakeville, Ron Hermenau of San Francisco, Gary Hermenau and his girlfriend Alison of Carver, Lori Cahill and her husband Matt of Pembroke, and Lisa Hedding and her husband Phillip of Middleboro. Devoted grandmother of Heather, Kevin, Tim, Taylor, Taryn, Alexa, and Troy. Sister of Janet Leach of Hanover, John Cummings of Norwell, and the late Doris Hotton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Shirley selflessly gave many years of volunteer service throughout her life. She was committed to the First Parish Church in Pembroke, and she had been employed with the Town of Pembroke as a secretary with the Highway Dept. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Rt. 58, Carver, on Sun. Nov.25 from 3-7PM. Funeral at the funeral home on Mon. Nov.26 at 9:30AM. Interment in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:15AM. Memorial donations in Shirley's name may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd., 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
