Valentina M. (Aubert) Freeman, age 98, of Kingston, formerly of Pembroke, died on Friday, November 2, 2012, at the Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Born in Hanson, she was the daughter of the late Fulgence & Maria (Flueck) Aubert. For many years, Valentina resided in Pembroke. She worked and retired out of the Treasurer's Office for the Town of Pembroke. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred H. Freeman; devoted mother of Bernice A. O'Neil & her husband Stephen of Kingston, M. Barbara Watts of Hanson and the late John H. Freeman, Sr. & his surviving wife Lesta Freeman of Pembroke; loving grandmother of John Freeman, Jr. & Stephanie, Robert Freeman & Diane, Denise Freeman & James, J. Stephen O'Neil, Michael O'Neil & Brandi, Tina Sterite & John, Kenneth Watts & Tara and great-grandmother of eight and great great-grandmother of one; dear sister of Matilda Gauley of Hanson and the late John Aubert, Frank Aubert, Leo Aubert and Marie Matta. She is also survived by several nieces. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Tuesday, November 6, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Wednesday, November 7 at 8:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, at 9:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Valentina's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
