Obituary of Jane L. Smith

Jane L. Smith, of Marshfield passed away on October 12, 2012 at the Grace Ryder Home in Marshfield. She was born on November 24, 1934 in Plymouth and was 77 years old. Jane was the beloved daughter of Ruth and Ralph Melisse and Lawrence Smith. Loving sister of Nancy Black of Duxbury, Lila and her husband Terrance Westgate of Plymouth, and Mary DeMeule and her husband Louis of Kingston. Jane is also survived by her late brother James Melisse and his wife Joane of Plymouth as well as many nieces and nephews. Jane was very endearing and touched many hearts and her smile and personality brought love to anyone she met. Jane certainly will be missed by everyone she had contact with. She had excellent care given to her by her house manager, and also by hospice care, and all the staff at the Grace Ryder Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 12:00 PM at the Kingston Baptist Church, 211 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. Interment will be at the Evergreen cemetery in Kingston.
