John H. Hallisey, of Needham, formerlly of Somerville, passed away on October 8, 2012. He was 59 years old. Beloved son of the late Harry F. and Claire (Griffin) Hallisey. Loving brother of Mary Johnson and her husband F. Robert Johnson of Somerville, Paul Hallisey and his wife Tracy of Kingston, Barbara DeVito and her husband James of Reading, and the late Michael J. Hallisey. John is also survived by his two nephews Gregory and Jeffrey DeVito.
An hour of visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13th from 11-12:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston with a funeral service set to begin at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: The Michael J. Fox Foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease, at www.michaeljfox.org.
