Obituary of Michael S. Hartley

Michael S. Hartley, age 54, of Duxbury, died on Friday, October 5, 2012, at his home. He was the beloved son of the late William & Mary (Jordan) Hartley; loving brother of William Hartley & his wife Jeanne of Sandwich, Dennis Hartley of Dorchester, Debra Hartley of Weymouth, Paul Hartley & his wife Julia of Duxbury, Mary McDonough & her husband John of Milton, Karen Hartley of Dorchester, Thomas Hartley of Weymouth, Ann Copp & her husband Steven of PA and the late Janet Bergeron. Michael is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Wednesday, October 10, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Thursday, October 11 at 9:30 AM, follow by his funeral Mass at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
