Obituary of Chester L. Boyd

Chester "Chet" L. Boyd, age 76, of Plymouth, died on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at his home.
Chet was the beloved husband of Sylvia (Andersen) Boyd and loving father of Richard Boyd of Hanover and Donna Musilli of Scottsdale, AZ. Chet will be missed by Donna's husband, Robert, and his much loved grandchildren, Joseph and Gianna. Chet was also devoted stepfather of Michael Showstead, Lauren Levesque, Valerie Lindquist, Peter Showstead, and Andrew Showstead, and was loving step-grandfather of their 15 children and step-great grandfather of one. Chet leaves his brothers and sisters, Gordon Boyd of Chesapeake, VA, Beverly Selway of Tewksbury, Wanda Conroy of Concord, NH, George Boyd of Wakefield, Raymond Boyd of Reading, and Richard Boyd of Gray, TN.
Visiting hours will be at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Tuesday, October 9, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Wednesday, October 10 at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow the services at the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Chet's memory may be made to any chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.
