Obituary of Charlotte Hope Sargent

Charlotte Hope Sargent, of Kingston, formerly of Quincy and Weymouth, passed away on September 11, 2012. She was 89 years old. Charlotte loved her family, the Red Sox, and reading. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and worked at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Wife of the late Robert J. Sargent, Charlotte is survived by her four children; Ruth K. Perry and her husband Bud of Lynchburg, VA, Donald S. Sargent of Quincy, Robin H. Hall and her husband David of Kingston, and the late Charles H. Sargent, and his wife Linda Of Duxbury. Sister of Paul Bickford, and the late John Bickford. Charlotte is also the cherished Nana of eight, and Great Nana of 4. Charlotte's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of Charlotte's caregivers, staff, volunteers, and friends at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston who lovingly cared for her. Charlotte's smile and kind words will be missed and remembered by all her knew her. A memorial service will be held at Old South Union Church, 25 Columbian St, S. Weymouth on Sunday, September 23rd at 1:30. A gathering will follow at Blackstone's restaurant at Indian Pond Country Club, 60 Country Club Way, Kingston.
