Obituary of James W. Richardson

James W. Richardson, age 84, of Weymouth, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Thomas & Helen (Gill) Richardson. He was veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. James was the beloved husband to Elisabeth (Krauskopf) Richardson, formerly of Braunfels, Germany; devoted father of Peter Richardson of Weymouth, Susan Masuret & her husband James of Plympton and Carol Scheidel & her husband Allen of Barkhamstead, CT; loving grandfather of Stephanie Ferretti of Plymouth and Joshua Masuret of Plympton; loving great-grandfather of Ryan Joseph Ferretti of Plymouth and dear brother of Thomas Francis Richardson of Wareham and Fort Myers, FL and William Richardson of Cape Cod. Interment with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
