Obituary of Robert R. Masuret

Robert R. Masuret, age 80, of Weymouth and Falmouth, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Francis & Ruth (Murray) Masuret. He was a Massachusetts State Police Trooper/Detective for almost four decades and was an avid pilot and golfer. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Ardis T. (Deehan) Masuret; devoted father of Robert Michael Masuret of Port Townsend, WA, James F. Masuret & his wife Susan of Plympton, Dorothea Noble & her husband Gary of Quincy, Michelle Masuret & her husband Christopher Hubble of Littleton, NH and the late Mark R. Masuret; loving grandfather of Joshua James Masuret of Plympton, Stephanie Ferretti of Plymouth, great-grandfather of Ryan Joseph Ferretti and step-grandfather of four; dear brother of Michelle Yarro of Brockton and the late Francis Masuret. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Thursday, August 30, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Friday, August 31 at 9:00 AM, followed by his funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, at 10:00 AM. Interment with military honors to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 PM.
