She attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Roxbury Memorial School for Girls . In Boston, she met her husband, the late Frank Vincent Wisneski, and they were married in 1941, the day before he was shipped out for U.S. Army basic training in Fort Wallace, Texas. They celebrated their honeymoon on the two-day train ride to Texas. Mrs. Wisneski worked in several administrative roles at Fort Wallace during the next several years while her husband was serving in both the European and Pacific theatres in World War II. After his discharge in 1946, the Wisneskis' moved back to the Dorchester section of Boston, where they had their first son, Frank Jr. They relocated to Weymouth in 1950, where they resided for 27 years and raised their family, which eventually included a second son Edward. In 1977 Mr. and Mrs. Wisneski moved to Enterprise St. in Duxbury. They developed numerous friendships and were active participants in many community and Senior Center activities. Seeking to “downsize,” they moved to The Village at Duxbury in 2000. Mrs. Wisneski relocated to Newfield House in 2010.
