Donald C. Merritt III, "Skip", of Hanson, passed away on July 18, 2012. He was 54 years old. Loving father of Melissa Merritt and her fiance Russ Mullen of Hanson, Jennifer Merritt and Steve Reed of Halifax, Becky Dooley and her husband Charlie of Halifax, Amanda Merritt of Plymouth, and there mother Linda Merritt of Plymouth. Beloved son of Patricia Merritt and the late Donald Merritt, Jr of Rockland. Brother of Linda Holland of Rockland, Susan Campbell and her husband Jim of Rockland, and Jeffrey and his wife Patty of Pembroke. Mr. Merritt is also the cherished grandfather of 8, and survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 23rd from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Leukemia Society at www.lls.org/
