Obituary of Jeffrey R. Champignie

Jeffrey R Champignie, 48, of Kingston passed away on May 26, 2012. He graduated from SLRHS class of 1981. He belonged to several outdoor clubs including AMC, Wildlife Federation, GOAL, Snowmobile Clubs and the Old Colony Sportsman Club. He was a former Boy Scout and avid baseball player. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed photography, fishing, sightseeing and traveling. He was the son of Beverly A (Chase) Champignie and Edward R Champignie of Kingston. Brother to Janell M Croce and her husband Randy Croce of Kingston and Kevin L Champignie of Bridgewater. Father to Cameron and Kyle Champignie of Halifax, loving companion of Patricia “Queenie” Coveney, Uncle to Mari E Croce, Maeja M Croce of Kingston and Kaelani Champignie of Bridgewater. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours will be held from 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday May 30th at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St(Rt. 106) Kingston. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Bermese Mountain Dog rescue at www.bmdca.org.
