Obituary of Charles Jackson Hoover

Charles Jackson Hoover, Sr. (“Jack”), age 82, of Duxbury, MA, passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 at the Allerton House in Duxbury. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Joan K. (Salvucci) Hoover; devoted father of Charles Jackson Hoover, Jr and his wife Kelli of Marietta, GA, and Reid Allen Hoover of Spring Hill, FL; loving grandfather of Charles Jackson Hoover III and Reid Allen Hoover, Jr., and dear brother of Lorna Hoover of Chelsea, MA. A family graveside service was held at the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury, MA on Thursday, April 12, 2012. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Duxbury Bay Maritime School, 457 Washington Street, Snug Harbor, Duxbury, MA 02331.
